Merional Hg Inj. 75 Iu (1+1) 1 Pack
A medication used to treat infertility in both men and women by stimulating the ovaries to produce eggs in women and promoting sperm production in men. This helps enhance reproductive function and improves the chances of conception.
Indications:
- Treatment of female infertility due to anovulation or follicular development disorders.
- Stimulation of multiple follicular growth in assisted reproduction programs such as IVF.
- Treatment of male infertility associated with hypogonadotropic hypogonadism to stimulate spermatogenesis.
Main Active Ingredients:
- Menotrophin (Human Menopausal Gonadotropin) 75 IU FSH and 75 IU LH activity.
Precautions:
- Should be used only under the supervision of a fertility specialist.
- Monitor ovarian response carefully to avoid ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS).
- Discontinue treatment if excessive ovarian response occurs.
- Inform your doctor of any previous allergic reactions to gonadotropins.
- Use with caution in patients with thyroid, adrenal, or pituitary gland disorders.
- Store below 25°C, protected from light.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Use immediately after reconstitution.
Side Effects:
- Headache, abdominal pain, or bloating.
- Injection site reactions such as redness or swelling.
- Ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS) in women.
- Gynecomastia or acne in men.
- Rarely, allergic reactions.
Drug-Drug Interactions:
- Use with caution with other fertility drugs such as Clomiphene Citrate or hCG, as combined therapy may enhance ovarian response.
- Inform your doctor if you are using medications affecting the pituitary or hypothalamic functions.
