Gonal F 300IU/0.48ml 1Pen
- Pre-filled injection pen containing recombinant follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) used in fertility treatments to stimulate ovulation and support reproductive function.
Indications:
- Treatment of female infertility and stimulation of ovulation.
- Used in assisted reproductive techniques (ART) such as IVF.
- Management of anovulation, including polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
- Stimulation of multiple follicle development.
- Treatment of male infertility to support sperm production.
Main Active Ingredient:
- Follitropin alfa.
Precautions:
- Contraindicated in pregnancy and breastfeeding.
- Not to be used in patients with hormone-dependent tumors.
- Avoid use in cases of unexplained vaginal bleeding.
- Caution in patients with thyroid, adrenal, or pituitary disorders.
- Requires medical supervision with regular monitoring (ultrasound & labs).
- Risk of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS).
- May increase the chance of multiple pregnancy.

Drug–Drug Interactions:
- hCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin).
- Clomiphene Citrate.
- GnRH Agonists.
- GnRH Antagonists.
- Administered by subcutaneous injection using the prefilled pen.
- Dose and duration are determined by the physician.
- Rotate injection sites and follow proper injection technique.
