Asacol 20 Suppositories 500 mg
- The recommended dose for adults and elderly people:
- The normal dose is 500 mg 2 times a day, the dose can be increased to 3 times a day in more difficult cases or as the doctor's dosage instructions
- Instructions for use:
- Lie on your side and pull your knees up towards your chest
- Insert the suppository as far as possible with the flat end first into the rectal opening with the index or middle finger
- Stretch your legs and lie still for a few minutes (if possible)
- If you have swallowed an Asacol 500 mg suppository by mistake:
- Drink plenty of water and inform your doctor or the nearest emergency room immediately
- Take the pack of suppositories with you
- If you have forgotten to take Asacol:
- You must not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose
- If one or more doses have been forgotten, the next dose should be taken at the usual time
- Talk to your doctor before taking Asacol if you have a medical condition or illnesses
