- Loratadine FM is used to relieve symptoms associated with seasonal allergic rhinitis (hay fever) and perennial allergic rhinitis.
- Symptoms of these conditions can include sneezing, runny nose, and nasal itching, in addition to burning, itching, and watering of the eyes.
- Loratadine FM is also used to relieve symptoms of chronic idiopathic urticaria (skin rash consisting of hives and wheals).
- The typical dose of Lorine Fm for adults is 10 mg once daily or 2 teaspoonfuls (10 mg) of syrup once daily.
- The usual dose for children is 5 mg (1 teaspoonful) once daily.
- The maximum dose for adult patients of Lorine Fm is 10 mg per day.
