Praluent 150Mg/1Ml Injection
- A medication used to treat adults with high cholesterol levels in the blood.
- It belongs to a group of medicines called PCSK9 inhibitors, which work by helping the liver remove more LDL cholesterol (""bad cholesterol"") from the
bloodstream.
Indications:
- Treatment of adults with high cholesterol levels in the blood.
- Reduction of LDL cholesterol in patients with familial hypercholesterolemia.
- Lowering the risk of cardiovascular events in patients with established heart disease.
Main Active Ingredients:
- Alirocumab 150mg/1ml.
Precautions:
- Do not use if you are allergic to Alirocumab or any of the ingredients.
- Stop treatment and contact your doctor immediately if you experience signs of a severe allergic reaction, such as difficulty breathing, swelling of the face orthroat, or severe skin rash.
- Inform your doctor if you have liver disease or other chronic medical conditions.
- Safety in pregnancy and breastfeeding has not been fully established. Consult your doctor before use.
Side Effects:
- Local injection site reactions such as redness, swelling, or pain.
- Nasopharyngitis (cold-like symptoms).
- Influenza.
- Itchy skin or rash.
- Serious allergic reactions, including hypersensitivity, nummular eczema, or hypersensitivity vasculitis (rare).
